Farmer's Markets Here We Come!
This week we got some great news, we got all the required approvals in to start attending the Farmer's Markets in both Clearwater and Valemount. Of course, as is normally the case around here, great news is generally accompanied by a lot of work.
Next Tuesday we are picking up (assuming no more delays) our latest batch of pork from the processor, the rest of the day will be spent making deliveries to areas south. Then home we come to go through, weigh and label all the individual cuts for the Farmer's Market.
On top of the meat we also have Natural Products. This week we have been busy replenishing stock on our line of natural products, including soap, lotion, hand cleaner and candles.
The weekend of June 20/21 marks our 7 year anniversary, the plan was to spend the weekend out on the lake fishing and taking some much needed R&R (of course all the farm chores still have to happen), instead, hubby will be spending some time out on the lake fishing, and I will be attending our first Farmer's Market in Clearwater. The joys of homesteading, never a dull moment.
