Naturally raised pork right down to farrowing practices. We do not believe in farrowing crates which confine mom so she can't move. We believe that the mom should be able to choose where to have her babies, build her nest and protect them, as nature intended.

Following our beliefs, we did not seperate the moms prior to farrowing, we allowed them the opportunity to create their own privacy.

This resulted in an interesting few days after mom to be disappeared and we got to spend a few days walking through the bush trying to find her and her beautiful babies.

This litter we found because the dog started barking in that direction, so we went to investigate and found a healthy momma and 9 beautiful babies. Annie has proven to be a fantastic mom, and is currently raising 11 babies as she accepted 2 fosters from another litter. Her babies are growing great and with her temperment and mothering abilities we will be selecting a couple of her girls to keep for breeding.
